Run H’cap Dabchick Shield
This was probably donated by Alan Fairley who sailed Extras in the late 1960’s. He built 6 or 7 of them. I owned and sailed Extra 365 “Pol” from 1973 to 1976
Sandy Gold and Ken Holliday joined the Yacht Club in the late 1960’s and sailed Finns successfully for many years. They had young children at the time and were instrumental in initiating the Optimist Class at Imperial. Gary Holliday went on to achieve great honours in sailing and was part of the SA Optimist team to the worlds. Sandy Gold was Commodore for 3 years and Ken Holliday was on the Committee.
The name Imps is a shortened version of Imperial. I am not sure who donated it.

Don and Denise Wooburn donate this trophy. Don sailed Extras and was a flag officer until transferred to Johannesburg.
